Job summary

Allegiance Healthcare Hospice and Palliative Care in Eunice, LA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Hospice Aide to provide direct patient care and light housekeeping under the supervision of a registered nurse. Qualifications

• CNA certification or hospice aide training/competency evaluation (Required).
• Caregiving experience of 1 year (Required).
• Must read, write, and follow directions promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and/or housekeeping in the home under RN supervision.
• Record clinical notes and obtain vital signs; report deviations to RN.
• Assist with mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and housekeep tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Complete weekly notes and document visits in the patient record.
