Job summary

By The Bay Health in San Francisco, CA is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care to hospice patients. This role requires a valid California HHA license and completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program; we offer company-paid rideshares, a car lending program, competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Schedule is five days per week, weekends required, 8:30am–5:00pm with start times flexible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
