Responsibilities of a Hospice Nursing Aide (STNA):

• Providing direct patient care and assistance according to the plan of care
• Aiding with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care)
• Recognizing and reporting abnormal findings or changes in patient status
• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team to establish and carry out care plans to ensure comfort and dignity

Qualifications needed:

• Certified Nurse Assistant Certification or State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification (Ohio only)
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and document patient notes
• Reliable transportation with proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance
