Qualifications

• State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification (Ohio) required.
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition
• Reliable transportation with proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance in accordance with the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Recognize and report abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to carry out the plan of care to provide comfort and dignity.

As a Hospice Nursing Aide (STNA), you will be:

• Responsible for providing direct patient care and assistance in accordance with plan of care
• Aiding with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care)
• Recognizing and reporting abnormal findings or changes in patient status
• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team that helps establish and carry out their plan of care to provide comfort and dignity throughout their diagnosis
