Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Hospice to support patients and families in the Saint Louis area. This full-time position offers a weekend option with a set schedule (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or similar) and mileage reimbursement for community travel within the Greater St.

Louis Area. Ideal candidates will have RN licensure in Missouri, prior hospice/admissions experience preferred, and a passion for compassionate, multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Missouri or eligible to practice.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Weekend option and set schedule available.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Promote equity and empathy in care across diverse populations.
• Evaluate patient condition changes and update the care plan accordingly.
• Maintain safety and comply with nursing standards; safety-sensitive role.

Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing/Home Health
