Iowa City Hospice is seeking a dedicated full-time Hospice Admissions RN to be the first clinical contact for patients and families entering hospice services. You will guide admission, coordinate care, and work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth transition to hospice care.

The role requires nursing licensure in Iowa, clinical excellence, effective communication, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing (RN/BSN/ARNP) with Iowa Nursing License.
• 2+ years in home health or hospice, with end-of-life care knowledge desirable.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with EHR and Microsoft Office.
