Job summary

Compassus, Providence at Home with Compassus, seeks a Hospice Admission Registered Nurse / RN in Medford, Oregon. The role supports teammates with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, comprehensive onboarding, and a broad benefits package.

In this role you will assess hospice eligibility, coordinate initial plans of care with the Inter-Disciplinary Team, and help patients spend quality time with loved ones.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Assess patients for hospice eligibility and explain hospice care services to patients, families/caregivers.
• Ensure all patient’s initial needs are addressed.
• Collaborate with the Inter-Disciplinary Team members regarding initial plan of care, patient’s condition, and other essential information.

Compensation

$40.90-$63.49- The specific rate of pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on relevant education, training, experience, geographic location, and other position-related factors. Compassus does not inquire about, consider, or rely upon an applicant's prior salary history in determining compensation. In addition to base compensation for the position, an employee working in this position may be eligible for pay differentials based on hours, shifts worked, or other criteria. They may also qualify for bonuses under applicable bonus programs or at Compassus’s discretion, as well as other forms of variable pay under relevant company policies. A summary of applicable pay programs will be provided during the offer process.
