The role requires coordinating Medicare/Medicaid verifications, collaborating across teams, and maintaining high standards of patient-centered care, dignity, and respect in a fast-paced hospice environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating admissions in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance processes.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full admission process and serve as a resource for the admissions team.
• Verify Medicare, Medicaid, VA and private insurance coverage.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team and payors.
• Track data and trends related to admissions development.
• Report insights to leadership and participate in weekly reviews.
