AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a seasoned nurse leader to oversee Admissions and Referrals for Central Florida Hospice. You will direct staffing, budgets, and policy development to ensure timely, high-quality patient care across the continuum.

The role requires RN licensure, 7+ years nursing experience including 2 years in hospital or hospice/home health, plus 5+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing leadership experience in hospital, hospice, or home health.
• Experience with reimbursement and cost containment.
• Experience supervising and interviewing staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs development and monitoring of department protocols and standards.
• Oversees staffing and budgeting for Admissions and Referrals.
• Coordinates admissions with healthcare providers and marketing.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local guidelines and payer requirements.
• Communicates with Health Information Management to ensure complete documentation.
• Partners with Senior Referrals Manager to schedule admission nurses.
• Provides leadership and guidance during significant circumstances.
