Job summary

By the Bay Health seeks a Patient Care Support Services Assistant to support the Patient Care Support Services Manager. The role involves maintaining patient records and providing administrative support in compliance with policies and applicable laws.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with weekend and holiday rotations. Location: On-site in Sonoma, CA, with occasional travel to the Larkspur office. Pay range: $25.00–$26.00 hourly, full-time with benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of clerical/administrative experience, preferably in health care.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and medical staff to route to the appropriate staff.
• Daily audits of chart information using Epic, Excel, and PCSS Admit reports to ensure accuracy from admission to discharge.
• Collect and distribute interoffice mail.
• Facilitate outgoing mail via USPS.
• Support the PCSS Manager on special projects.
