Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Production Associate to perform hose coiling, inspection, labeling and sampling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include verifying part numbers, measuring dimensions, recording flaws, performing pressure tests, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while adhering to Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.

On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Production work preferred but not required.
• Good verbal communication, math, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review conformance of hose while coiling on reel and cut hose as needed.
• Verify part numbers, hose size and job numbers based on specifications.
• Review dimensions, tag colors and take up reel diameter; inspect for flaws.
• Tape and cut nonconforming sections; place scrap in proper containers.
• Record attributes (flaws) and hose scrap on inspection sheets; update WW3.
• Operate pressure test and document PSI; label and route tested hoses.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
