Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Mansfield, TX is seeking a production associate responsible for hose coiling, pressure testing, and quality inspections. You will verify part numbers, measure dimensions, label hoses, and document flaws on inspection sheets as part of daily production.

The role requires following 5S and safety regulations, working with maintenance to resolve equipment issues, and participating in lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Production work preferred but not required; on-the-job training available (1–8 weeks).
• Skills: good verbal/interpersonal communication; basic math, reading and writing.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify part number, hose size and job numbers according to specs.
• Review dimensions, tag colors, and take up reel diameter.
• Inspect for flaws (bony hose, broken/missing wires, kinked hose).
• Tape and cut nonconforming sections; dispose hose scrap properly.
• Record attributes on inspection sheets and update WW3.
• Measure OD, ID and pitch; prepare proper labeling.
• Cut burst and periodic samples as required.
• Keep gages clean and in good condition.
• Set up and operate pressure test equipment per specs; measure PSI impact.
• Inspect tested hoses and document results; maintain 5S safety and cleanliness.
• Report production issues to Direct Lead and follow safety guidelines.
