PIRTEK Staten Island is looking for a hands-on mobile service technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic and industrial hoses across Staten Island and the NYC area. You will drive a fully equipped PIRTEK van, respond to on-site breakdowns, and perform hose replacements with a focus on fast, reliable solutions.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that values hustle, clear communication, and adherence to processes. Training is provided, with paid on-call premiums and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug check.
• Mechanically inclined with comfort in hands-on environments.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive a fully outfitted PIRTEK mobile service van across Staten Island and the greater NYC area.
• Respond to on-site breakdowns, routinely on an emergency basis.
• Diagnose, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Be part of the on-call rotation with night and weekend work paid extra.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and fixes.
• Keep truck, tools, and paperwork organized and up-to-date.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Drive a fully outfitted PIRTEK mobile service van across Staten Island and the greater NYC area
• Respond to on‑site breakdowns, routinely on an emergency basis
• Diagnose, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses

• Work on:
• Marine equipment, tugboats, and shipyards
• Construction equipment

• Industrial machinery

• Machine servicing and cylinder repair

• Be part of the on‑call rotation (yes, nights and weekends happen — and yes, you’re paid extra for it)
• Communicate clearly with customers — explaining what’s wrong and what it’ll take to fix it
• Keep your truck, tools, and paperwork in order so you’re always ready to roll
