Job summary

ContiTech in Houston is seeking a reliable Hose Assembly Technician to perform production, testing, packing, safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives in a timely, cost-effective manner.

You will follow production plans, read drawings and BOMs, operate hand and power tools, maintain inventory, conduct quality checks, document defects, and uphold health, safety and environmental requirements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in small batch assembly production environment preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products as part of production.
• Follow production plans to meet delivery requirements.
• Read diagrams, drawings and BOMs to assemble equipment accurately.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain inventory and perform quality checks.
• Identify defects and document accordingly.
• Keep work area clean and safe; follow health and safety policies.
• Support production team lead/manager as required.
