Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Pest Control Technician to conduct pest control activities and support plant health as part of the Horticulture team. The role involves applying pesticides, managing pest-related workflows, and contributing to green initiatives across the property.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred degrees in Horticulture or Entomology and relevant pesticide licensing.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of label usage and safety procedures.
• Experience with IPM programs is preferred.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and apply pesticides and plant nutrients per label and safety procedures.
• Plan and release beneficial insects as part of IPM.
• Provide safe removal of unwanted wildlife across Universal Orlando property.
• Identify and diagnose pest control needs in assigned landscape areas.
• Record pest control activity in reports per laws and policy.
• Maintain and properly store spray equipment.
