Job summary

Walt Disney World seeks a Pest Control Operator to manage pest management services across the resort properties and parks. This role includes preventive maintenance, wildlife control, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include treating for pests, wildlife capture, inspections, and clear communication with Cast and Guests. A Florida driver’s license and a related college degree or 3 years of pest control experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' documented pest control experience or a college degree in a related field
• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
• Compliance with state and federal pest control laws and regulations
• Knowledge of common Florida pests and signs
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software and mobile devices

Responsibilities

• Follow pest control regulations for safety and use of PPE
• Apply treatments (granular, liquid, dust, gel, ULV) per label and PPE guidelines
• Capture/trap nuisance wildlife per guidelines
• Respond to pest control service requests from Cast and Guests
• Conduct inspections to diagnose pest issues and propose solutions
• Explain preventive steps to Cast and Guests in simple terms
• Coordinate with peers across shifts and departments
• Lead preventive maintenance within an area and ensure completion
• Document activities and complete daily paperwork
• Attend required training and evaluations
• Report to work on time and provide advance notice if unavailable
