Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC in Walpole, MA is seeking a Horticulture Crew Lead to guide our Fine Gardening team on complex landscape projects. You will oversee safety, quality, and scheduling at the job site, while coordinating activities with crew members and clients.

Requirements include a horticulture degree or certificate (a bachelor’s degree preferred), 2+ years of fine gardening experience, and preferred certifications (MCLP, MCH, MCA, or Master Gardener).

Qualifications

• Horticulture degree or certificate (or related field).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2+ years prior fine gardening experience.
• MCLP, MCH, MCA, or Master Gardener Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Crew members understand and follow company policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Act as a resource and liaison to our clients while at the job site.
• Provide on-the-job training to new and current Crew Members and Crew Leaders in Training.
• Coordinate all work activities at the job site with respect to timeframe, safety, and skills and capabilities of individual Crew Members.
• Monitor the quality of all work performed by the crew and provide guidance and correction, as necessary.
