Job summary

D• is seeking a customer-focused associate to help on the sales floor, advise customers, and assist with merchandise stocking and restocking. This role covers automotive, electrical, plumbing, housewares, power equipment, and other non-clothing items.

You will sell, upsell, and provide product knowledge, support order requests, and help with inventory cycles while ensuring a clean, organized display. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have proven knowledge and experience with horses and tack.
• Knowledge of retail floor sales techniques.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques is desired.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on price and features.
• Provide merchandise/product knowledge and recommend accessories.
• Assist customers in ordering specialized merchandise as needed.
• Provide assistance in receiving and display merchandise per policies and standards.
• Answer telephones and handle routine customer inquiries.
• Perform floor maintenance and safeguard merchandise.
• Participate in inventory cycle activities.
• Move material using hand tools, pallet-jack, dolly, or forklifts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
