Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a HOPWA Supervisor to lead a team of caseworkers and support staff in administering the HOPWA program. The role ensures compliance with inter-local and state grant contracts, prepares budgets and reporting documents, and monitors eligibility decisions and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of case management or related experience, including one (1) year supervisory.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations and maintain client eligibility records and rent calculations.
• Advocate for needed services and coordinate with community resources and coalitions.
• Provide information to City and State Auditors and track performance against monthly goals.
• Monitor expenditures with fiscal, assist in budget preparation for two housing programs.
• Track client outcomes and support HOPWA case managers across agencies.
