Job summary

The City of Charlotte seeks a Program Coordinator for the Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) program. You will connect residents to housing resources, engage stakeholders, and support administration and compliance across 11 service areas.

Work involves coordinating with residents, service providers, landlords, subrecipients and internal teams to expand access and equity in housing services.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of projects and workflows for HOPWA program access.
• Advocate for people living with HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, partners, schedules and deliverables.
• Identify challenges and implement proactive process improvements.
• Provide strategic oversight for federally funded housing programs.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders, providers and landlords.
• Monitor performance, budgets and reporting; propose improvements to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with evolving housing policies and regulations.
• Provide training and compliance support to subrecipients and partners.
• Develop policies, procedures and internal controls for accountability.
• Coordinate funding solicitations, proposals and special reports.
• Manage communications and client inquiries via shared inboxes and calls.
