Job summary

Grease Monkey Greenville is seeking a hood technician to perform full service oil changes and lead bay activities. You will ensure safety, organize the bay, and guide vehicles into position for service.

You will inspect the engine area, check and top off fluids, and record details on the Work Order. Training is provided, with priority for reliable individuals who value accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service and basic literacy required.
• Verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability and license to operate motor vehicles.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Minimum 3 months of hood technician training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, wear safety gear, keep area clean and organized.
• Direct vehicle into the bay.
• Place fender covers on the vehicle.
• Check and fill fluids (oil, transmission, power steering, etc.).
• Inspect belts, hoses, and hood components; document conditions.
• Record information on Work Order and ensure quality checks.
