Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking a Hood Technician to inspect and lubricate cars quickly and thoroughly, while maintaining professional service for customers. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced shop.

The Hood Technician will conduct multi-point inspections, identify additional repairs, and coordinate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction. Weekend availability is preferred to meet busy service demands.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly.
• Perform multi-point inspections.
• Identify and communicate additional repairs needed.
• Advise service consultant/technician for additional work.
• Check fluid levels and belts/hoses/wipers; inspect air pressure.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
