Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in the United States is seeking a Hood Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly for customers, while upholding our mission and core values. You will perform multi-point inspections, identify required repairs, and communicate with service consultants.

This role requires reliable teamwork, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays

Responsibilities

• Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehicles
• Perform multi-point inspection
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Advise service consultant/tech for additional work
• Inspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission
• Inspect belts, hoses, and wiper blades
• Check air pressure of tires
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
