Job summary

Grainger Businesses in Honolulu, HI is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a full-time, hourly role. The position involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, staging, and shipping responsibility to support inventory integrity and customer orders.

You will report to the Branch Manager and ensure safety and efficiency in a busy warehouse environment, including DOT-compliant hazmat ordering and returns processing. Base pay ranges per posted hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
• Able to operate power equipment including forklifts.
• Able to operate computerized scanning equipment and PC-based programs.
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Receive product on DC Trailer and store to maximize space.
• Receive product from Branch Transfers to fulfill orders.
• Process backorders and replenish stock to ensure availability.
• Pick and stage Will Call orders to meet readiness targets.
• Prepare shipping orders and handle returns per guidelines.
• Prepare hazmat orders and next-day shipments per DOT rules.
• Support store team to assist customers and maintain showroom stock.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
