Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electric meter function and wiring configurations.
• Formal apprenticeship in metering or wiring, electrical design, or electrical construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts field investigations to address revenue protection, fraud, or billing issues.
• Coordinates investigations and documents meter tampering and current diversion.
• Works with attorneys, law enforcement, and other parties; may serve as expert witness.
• Develops preventive actions and cost/benefit analyses for field operations.
