Job summary

The Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in maintaining spotless guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. You’ll assist room attendants, deliver items, restock supplies, and help with deep cleaning tasks to ensure a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Room Attendants in maintaining guest room floors and service areas.
• Transport soiled linens and towels to collection bins or loading dock.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize hallways, elevators, and public areas.
• Deliver guest-requested items such as rollaway beds and extra amenities.
• Restock linen rooms and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Remove trash and recycling to designated areas.
• Operate housekeeping equipment for deep cleaning projects.
• Assist with setup or heavy cleaning tasks as directed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Support a team-oriented environment with professionalism and communication.
