Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and write numbers.
• Good computer knowledge and skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Hone and operate all honing machines.
• Expert knowledge of honing machine.
• Monitor the production flow and general workflow of your area.
• Ensure all procedures and standard work are being followed consistently and correctly.
• Read honing set up instructions and set up machine accordingly.
• Monitor employees for safe operations and ensure PPE is worn correctly.
• Communicate with your supervisor on a regular basis; report any issues immediately.
• Hone a variety of parts and valves including blindhole, throughhole, strait finish.
• Ensure machines always have 2 jobs.
• Read target area control tolerance.
• Read drawings and blueprints.
• Manage workflow between Supervisor to Honing team members.
