Job summary

Jeff Wyler Automotive Family in Cincinnati, OH is hiring Automotive Technicians for Jeff Wyler Superior Honda. You will perform repair work per order, diagnose and repair faults, and communicate with parts and service advisors to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair or auto mechanic training.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by the dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
• Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

Automotive Technician - Essential Duties

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.

• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
