Job summary

O’Daniel Honda in Midtown Omaha is seeking motivated Quick Lube Technicians to join our family‑owned dealership. No experience? We train you—we value the right fit and your potential to grow with us.

We offer an air‑conditioned shop, daily bonus, paid training, tuition‑paid automotive tech school, medical/dental, 401(k) match and paid vacation. Work five days a week; Saturdays required; Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Computer Skills
• Positive, friendly attitude

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing Honda brand vehicles effectively and in accordance with Honda standards – familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Perform basic Maintenance oil changes, tire rotation, mount and balancing of tires, brake inspection, fluid changes, battery testing and replacement and basic overall inspections
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Keep shop and work space clean and in order and keep inventory stocked
