Job summary

O’Daniel Honda in midtown Omaha is seeking Quick Lube Technicians to join a family‑owned dealership with a long history of service. No experience? We will train you and help you grow your career in automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and customer service.

You’ll work in an air‑conditioned shop with modern equipment and a 5‑day work week, including Saturdays and weekday time off. We offer paid training, a scholarship option for automotive tech schooling, medical and dental benefits, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to identify problems quickly.
• Strong reading, math, and computer skills.
• Willingness to learn new repair procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Honda vehicles per Honda standards.
• Assist Service Advisor with test-driving vehicles and diagnostics.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspection, fluid changes.
• Communicate estimates and time needs to customers.
• Keep the shop clean and inventory stocked.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining and repairing Honda brand vehicleseffectively and inaccording with Honda standards– familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Perform basic Maintenance oil changes, tire rotation, mount and balancing of tires, brake inspection, fluid changes, battery testing and replacement and basic overall inspections.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Keep shop and work space clean and in order and keep inventory stocked.
