Buerkle Honda in White Bear Lake, MN is hiring for an Automotive Lube Technician. This full-time role offers hands-on Honda factory training, mentorship, and a clear path toward becoming a skilled Honda technician.

You’ll join a family‑owned, premier Honda dealership with a history of investing in technicians, benefits, and a stable year-round workload. Prior experience is not required, but a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performing oil and filter changes.
• Rotating, inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires.

• Performing routine fluid and maintenance services.
• Checking fluid levels, tire pressures, maintenance indicators, and warning lights.
• Documenting completed services and inspection findings.
• Assisting experienced technicians with maintenance and repair tasks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area and protecting customer vehicles.

Current Union Compensation Package

• Good‑Faith Wage Estimate: Starting at approximately $39,900 annually

What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Lube Technician, you’ll help maintain our customers’ vehicles while developing the skills needed to advance your automotive career.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing oil and filter changes
• Rotating, inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires
• Completing multi‑point vehicle inspections
• Testing and replacing batteries
• Performing routine fluid and maintenance services
• Checking fluid levels, tire pressures, maintenance indicators, and warning lights
• Accurately documenting completed services and inspection findings
• Assisting experienced technicians with approved maintenance and repair tasks
• Protecting customer vehicles and maintaining a clean, safe work area
• Completing assigned Honda factory, dealership, apprenticeship, and safety training
• Learning and applying Honda maintenance and repair procedures

Previous automotive, tire‑service, mechanical, or dealership experience is preferred but not required. Completion of or current enrollment in an automotive technician or vocational program is also preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

• Full‑time, five‑day work week
• Consistent weekly schedule
• Scheduling may occur Monday through Saturday
• Monday through Thursday shifts generally end by 7:00 p.m.
