Job summary

Steven Honda is seeking an experienced Express Service Technician to join our service department. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and light repairs on Honda vehicles, while collaborating with experienced technicians and service advisors to ensure safe, reliable transportation for our customers.

This role offers a base pay around $50,000+ annually, plus a 1.5x production bonus based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive or dealership experience preferred.
• Experience performing routine maintenance and light repairs.
• Basic diagnostic and mechanical knowledge.
• Comfortable using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to continue learning.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and routine maintenance.
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended repairs.
• Perform light mechanical repairs and maintenance services.
• Inspect tires, brakes, fluids, batteries, filters, and other vehicle components.
• Properly document repairs and services on repair orders.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors.
• Follow Honda, dealership, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism
