Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Program Coordinator to be the first point of contact for individuals exploring the Homeownership Program. The role manages inquiries, provides initial program education, and helps recruit prospective partner families.

The position involves guiding individuals from information sessions to potential applications, with responsibilities spanning outreach, data management, and ensuring compliance with mortgage-related guidelines.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency preferred.
• 3-5 years Credit experience required.
• 3-5 years Mortgage experience required.
• Three to five years of industry-related experience, preferably in homeownership counseling, mortgage lending, credit counseling, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for program inquiries via phone, email, voicemail, in-person visits, walk-ins, and follow-ups with recently declined applicants.
• Manage outreach events and information sessions to cultivate interest in the Habitat program.
• Track inquiries and movements through the early pipeline; maintain organized inquiry data for metrics.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage-related guidelines and provide exemplary customer service.
