Qualifications

• HUD Housing Counseling Certification (required).
• 4+ years of experience in housing counseling, financial coaching, or mortgage services.
• Strong supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with client management systems (HMIS, CRM or similar).
• Mortgage readiness and underwriting basics.
• Credit and financial capability coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, quality, and performance of the homebuyer program.
• Supervise housing counselors and Intake Coordinator.
• Manage intake, underwriting readiness, and client assignment into tracks.
• Develop workflows connecting intake, education, counseling, and mortgage readiness.
• Ensure HUD housing counseling standards and compliance.
• Monitor metrics and prepare internal and external reports.
• Align program with partnerships and future role expansion.
