Job summary

Rebuilding Together Nashville seeks a Homeowner Support Coordinator to work one-on-one with homeowners, connecting them to food assistance, utilities support, and mental-health resources while addressing their holistic needs.

The role emphasizes trust, warmth, and cultural sensitivity, with responsibilities including organizing workshops, supporting a property-standards program, and coordinating RTN’s partnership with Vanderbilt University.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in social work, community health or related field.
• Ability to build trust and communicate with diverse ages and cultures with warmth and patience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with local community resources or ability to learn quickly.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Homeowner support & resource navigation to connect homeowners to community resources and services.
• Build trusting relationships, including older adults and those facing stigmatized or sensitive circumstances, and support homeowners in RTN’s programs.
• Education & workshops: organize and coordinate classes and workshops for homeowners.
• Community health partnership & student coordination: coordinate RTN's Vanderbilt University partnership and support student teams.
