Evergreen Habitat is searching for an engaged and dynamic individual to serve as our Homeowner Services Stewardship Coordinator. This position serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners after closing and is responsible for supporting long-term homeowner success, housing stability, financial wellness, community engagement, homeowner education, and resource navigation. This position focuses on helping homeowners overcome barriers to sustainable homeownership by connecting them with internal resources, community partners, educational opportunities, and support services. The Stewardship Coordinator plays a key role in developing Evergreen Habitat's long‑term approach to Homeownership Resilience and helping ensure that Habitat's commitment to a homebuyer does not end at closing.

Responsibilities:

Homeowner Retention & Housing Stability

• Serve as the primary point of contact for post-purchase homeowners.
• Conduct homeowner outreach and wellness check-ins.
• Support homeowners experiencing barriers to housing stability.
• Connect homeowners with available community resources.
• Assist homeowners in navigating challenges related to property taxes, insurance, maintenance responsibilities, and affordability concerns.

Financial Wellness & Homeowner Education

• Facilitate financial wellness workshops.
• Support budgeting and financial literacy initiatives.
• Assist with partnerships related to financial counseling and homeownership readiness.
• Promote lifelong learning opportunities for homeowners.

Homeownership Resilience Initiatives

• Support development and implementation of resilience efforts related to:
• Property tax education and relief resources.
• Critical home repair resources.
• Estate planning and wealth preservation education.
• Homeowners insurance affordability education.
• Financial wellness and savings strategies.
• Homeowner resource navigation.

Critical Home Repair & Preservation Support

• Work alongside repair staff and community partners to support homeowners experiencing repair‑related challenges.
• Promote housing preservation strategies that help existing Habitat homeowners remain safely housed.
• Support neighborhood preservation initiatives that protect affordable housing assets and community stability.
• Assist in identifying repair‑related trends impacting homeowners

Community Partnership & Resource Development

• Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations.
• Coordinate homeowner referrals.
• Identify new resources that support homeowner stability.
• Maintain community resource directories.
• Connect homeowners to legal, financial, housing, counseling, and social service partners.

Homeowner Engagement & Stewardship

• Coordinate homeowner events and engagement opportunities.
• Support annual homeowner outreach efforts.
• Gather homeowner feedback through surveys.
• Assist with homeowner appreciation initiatives.
• Plan and support Meet the Team events and homeowner gatherings.
• Strengthen homeowner connections to Habitat and one another.

Data & Program Development

• Track homeowner trends and emerging needs.
• Collect resilience‑related data and outcomes.
