Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Assisted Living to maintain resident rooms and common areas. The role emphasizes infection control, daily cleaning tasks, and respectful service to residents.

The position offers day shifts, pay range $12.50–$14.30 per hour, and benefits with opportunities for growth. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required, and applicants must be at least 18.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms and other assigned areas.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Assures that floors are free of hazardous debris.
• Performs tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc.
• Washes, dries, sorts, folds, and delivers residents' personal laundry.
• Maintains work area in clean and orderly manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do as a Housekeeper:
