Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) is seeking a Field Coordinator 2 to support homeland security, school safety and emergency management across Georgia. The role requires POST certification and the ability to travel statewide with readiness to relocate within 90 days.

The HSC will provide training, incident response, and work closely with local law enforcement and federal partners. This position involves on-call duties and cross-state coordination as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or seven years of professional experience in emergency management or homeland security.
• P.O.S.T certification as a peace officer.
• Ability to travel statewide and be on-call as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-scene homeland security support and brief senior officials.
• Deliver training and technical assistance for school safety and emergency plans.
• Develop and maintain communications across public safety networks.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and GISAC as needed.
• Attend meetings and prepare detailed incident reports.
