Homecare Quality & Compliance Manager, Home Hospice - Full Time, Days

Join UChicago Medicine as a Homecare Quality & Compliance Manager for our Home Health and Hospice Agencies. This is a full-time, onsite position based in the greater Chicagoland area, working a Days shift.

This role involves managing the quality care delivery and compliance of the Homecare agency, overseeing staff, ensuring regulatory adherence, and leading quality improvement initiatives. It also includes managing compliance within the revenue cycle and ensuring timely and accurate billing.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop and monitor quality improvement programs.
• Analyze data to identify care and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations from agencies like The Joint Commission, CMS, and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
• Maintain survey readiness and address compliance issues.
• Manage clinical record reviews, releases, and staff training on compliance.
• Supervise quality and compliance staff, providing guidance and evaluations.
• Promote safety, investigate adverse events, and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare quality and compliance, with 3 years in supervision, preferably in Hospice or Home Health.
• Knowledge of Hospice/Home Health regulations and standards.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation for home visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPHQ certification preferred.

Position Details

• Full-Time, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with rotating On-Call.
• Location: Ingalls Campus, Harvey, IL.
