Job summary

Abcor Home Health is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in Illinois. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide transportation to appointments, and support their well-being according to individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving employment experience.
• Willing to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; access to a reliable car.
• Pre-service training of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals).
• Provide light housekeeping as needed.
• Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social events.
• Deliver personalized care per the individualized care plan.
• Report changes in client condition to branch supervisor promptly.
• Complete visits and document tasks in the home care app; retain receipts.
• Attend annual in-service training and quarterly supervisor conferences.
