Job summary

Mead School District seeks a Home Bound Special Education ParaEducator to support students receiving services in homes and off-campus locations. Duties include travel between Mead locations, instructional support, data collection, and collaboration with SPED staff.

Full 6-hour days, 8:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a continuing position. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and a willingness to work with students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; first aid/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities; travel between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned locations to support students and teachers.
• Assist in meeting instructional, behavioral and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide instructional support in small or large groups and reinforce learning objectives.
• Document data and assist with IEP-related information and progress notes.
• Follow plans and procedures from teachers and administrators; ensure health and safety.
• Support in preparing materials and manage classroom logistics as needed.
