Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and current first aid/CPR or willingness to obtain promptly.
• Para educators must be highly qualified upon hire per state law, with options including 2 years of college or an associate degree, or approved assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students to maintain safety and behavior in school areas.
• Assist certificated staff with instruction and classroom activities as needed.
• Perform basic clerical tasks and provide first aid when required.
• Follow administrator directions and school policies for student support.
