Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of students in instructional settings.
  • Teach and evaluate students using sound instructional practices.
  • Maintain accurate, complete records as required.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to students to promote welfare and development.
  • Distribute homework assignments and monitor progress.
  • Protect equipment, materials and facilities from damage.
  • Present subject matter clearly using varied instructional media.
  • Act as teacher and facilitator to support learning.
  • Identify student needs and coordinate with staff to support health, attitude, and learning.
  • Interact positively with staff, students, and parents.
