Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a Homebound Instructor to provide one-on-one instructional support for a student receiving homebound services in Alexandria, Indiana. The role works after school hours, 3:15–4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is duration-based on need with immediate start.

The instructor will meet with the student to complete assigned work, plan sessions, and communicate progress to the family and the Director of Exceptional Learners.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet individually with the student to support completion of class work.
• Plan and prepare for instructional sessions.
• Communicate regularly with family regarding student progress.
• Provide progress updates to the Director of Exceptional Learners.
• Follow the student's IEP.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality.

EMPLOYMENT DATES: Immediately-Duration Based on Need

HOURS: 3:15-4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday

RATE OF PAY: $30 Per Hour

Provide one-on-one instructional support for a student receiving homebound services by assisting with the completion of assigned schoolwork. Instruction will occur at an approved public location in Alexandria.
