Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a Homebound Instructor to provide one-on-one instructional support for a student receiving homebound services. Instruction will take place at an approved public location in Alexandria.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Indiana teaching license and is prepared to meet with the student daily during the 3:15–4:15 p.m. window Monday through Friday, plan sessions, track progress, and comply with the IEP. Rate of pay is $30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Meet individually with the student to support completion of class work.
• Plan and prepare for instructional sessions.
• Communicate regularly with family regarding student progress.
• Provide progress updates to the Director of Exceptional Learners.
• Follow the student's IEP.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality.
