West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks a Homebound Site Facilitator/Teacher for grades 7–12 at Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School. This as-needed supplemental role coordinates, monitors, and provides group homebound instruction for students in grades 7–12.

The position requires a valid West Virginia teaching license for grades 7–12, with responsibilities including liaison duties, schedule determination, instruction on the LMS, payroll submission, and maintaining confidential attendance and grade

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia teaching license and certification for grades 7–12.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between general and special education teachers and the director overseeing homebound services.
• Determine the school-level group homebound schedule.
• Instruct, monitor, and assist students in the program of study on the assigned learning management system to meet learning objectives and standards.
• Request additional homebound teachers based on enrollment and student needs; cap groups at 8 students.
• Collect, secure signatures, and submit homebound payroll forms within the payroll timeline.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, samples of work, communications for students in homebound program.
• Submit attendance weekly in WVEIS.
• Submit grades weekly in WVEIS.
• Ensure confidentiality procedures are maintained.
• Attend a minimum of two training sessions annually.
