Specsavers is seeking an experienced Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver high-quality optical services in patients' homes and care home settings. You will conduct clinics, dispense products, measure and fit eyewear, and ensure each patient has a great experience.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential as the role involves travel to various postcode areas. The position offers a car allowance and salary dependent on experience.
As a Home Visits Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings. You will make sure every customer has a great experience with us. On a daily basis you will be carrying out clinics as well as delivering glasses to patients, so you must be able to work on your own initiative and be confident when dealing with customers. Our patients are pretty special, so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a kind and friendly demeanour.
We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Optical Assistant to help support our customers and clinical team. We are looking for someone with current or recent optical experience and who is able to dispense at all levels, measure and fit. For us, it’s about finding someone with the right attitude, personality and drive to work hard. To work within the London 8 Domiciliary Team, you need to be a real people person, have the ability to strike up a chat with pretty much anyone and be able to demonstrate this at interview, and also of course, be happy to work hard to help each and every one of our customers, as you will be responsible for delivering a professional service our patients.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car full-time.
In this role, you will be visiting our customers in their homes across NW2, NW4, NW7, NW9, NW10, HA3, HA8, HA7, HA9 & N3 postcode areas. Due to the travelling involved, we are only looking to consider candidates who live in one of these areas.

You’ll be provided with a car allowance of £3000 per annum.
