Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an experienced Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver high-quality optical services in patients' homes and care home settings. You will conduct clinics, dispense products, measure and fit eyewear, and ensure each patient has a great experience.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential as the role involves travel to various postcode areas. The position offers a car allowance and salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience (6 months to 1 year) and ability to dispense at all levels.
• Confident in measuring and fitting spectacles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver glasses to patients in their homes.
• Carry out clinics in patient homes and care home settings.
• Provide a high-quality professional service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Be comfortable using new systems and tablets/laptops.
