Job summary

Parents and Children Together seeks a Hoomau Home Visiting Program Supervisor in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role leads home visiting and child abuse prevention services for families with young children and collaborates with state and community partners to promote safe, nurturing homes.

You will supervise staff, manage client caseloads, ensure service quality and compliance, and participate in recruitment and program development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field plus two years of work experience in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus three years of work experience in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing required.
• One year supervisory experience in a health or human services field providing individual supervision to direct service staff.

Responsibilities

• Behaves in a manner that supports the agency’s mission and follows personnel policies and procedures.
• Coordinates and ensures appropriate delivery of home-based child abuse prevention services to high-risk families with young children.
• Provides leadership and clinical oversight to program staff and supervises staff reporting directly to this position.
• Carry a partial caseload and provide direct services to clients as a Parent Educator.
• Ensures programs align with funders’ standards, tracks forms and assessments, and reports to the Program Director.
• Reviews and approves intakes of families and assigns Parent Educators.
• Develops relationships with funders and partners, attends trainings and meetings.
• Ensures program practices are based on current best practices.
