Nex-Tech Classifieds is seeking a Prenatal to 3 Years Old Parent Educator to provide direct services and support to Early Childhood Connections families in the USD 489 area. You will conduct home visits, develop family plans, and connect families with needed health and social services.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, with driving to community sites and homes across Ellis, Rooks, Rush, and Russell

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 60 college credits in a related field (early childhood, elementary ed, nursing or social services).
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must pass TB test, KBI background check, and a physical exam before starting.
• Willing to certify in CDA (Home Visitor), Ages and Stages tool, OAE hearing screen, CPR, First Aid, CPI as needed.

Mansioni

• Provides home visits to Families based on eligibility criteria.
• Develops activity plans from family/child needs and goals.
• Implements regular home visit schedule; completes related paperwork on time.
• Updates Childplus and completes Family Partnership Agreements regularly.
• Assists families in accessing health, social services, and outside resources.
• Promotes confidentiality and ethical conduct; adheres to mandatory reporting.
• Contacts at least two resources weekly for program recruitment; performs other duties as assigned.
